Limerick eyes new power plant

Limerick Township officials are reviewing plans for a new dual-use energy plant at the abandoned Kinsey Distillery. Officials estimate the plant would generate $1 billion in revenue during construction and add 75 new jobs. The township is targeting state and federal grants to pay for the site’s acquisition.
