Rt. 422 corridor brings booming business

without comments

Over the past 30 years, the corridor from Upper Merion and the Schuylkill River in West Norriton to the Berks County line has experienced tremendous residential development. More recently, a boom in retail and commercial development has turned the Rt. 422 corridor into a more resident-friendly alternative to the King of Prussia mall. Michael Stokes, assistant director of the county planning commission, reports that there is almost 3.5 million square feet in newly built or proposed retail and commercial development along the 15-mile stretch of Rt. 422.
